Ordinary People
A way that only requires a mobile phone to operate.
No need to buy other physical goods or virtual services, such as domain names and servers, and no need for technical knowledge.
The first recommendation is TikTok or YouTube.
Just casually shoot, don’t worry about the quality of the video, just use your phone to record daily life and vlogs.
TK (TikTok) and YT (YouTube) will store your videos; you don’t even need to buy a hard drive or pay for promotion, and they will recommend your videos.
Maybe one video will suddenly go viral for no apparent reason 🔥.
Or advertisers will approach you for collaboration.
This is currently the simplest way; it requires a little time and a little luck.
Websites
Divided into blogs and tool sites.
Blogs are mainly for recording text, ways of thinking, knowledge points, or daily essays.
Tool sites are for programming development; you might develop a small feature in a week that can be used for five or ten years.
However, blogs are best kept updated so that search engines will index them.
First, anyone who can type or speak can start a blog. For example, I use mobile typing and app voice transcription, thanks to AI.
Second, developing a website can now also be achieved by ordinary people, also thanks to AI.
In fact, social media platforms like X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, etc., are inherently capable of publishing short articles and long articles, and they also have good traffic.
But I mentioned YouTube because ordinary people don’t have many options; video is too heavy, and it’s difficult for ordinary people to build their own video platforms.
Blogs are different. I recommend building your own independent blog and website while operating social media platforms.
This way, if a large platform bans your account or goes out of business, you still have your own website data.
And search engines still exist. Once an article or tool site is indexed and gets traffic, a single page might receive hundreds of thousands or millions of visits.
It is recommended to deploy a blog synchronously from the beginning.
Suggestions
If someone asks me about ways to make money,
I will only recommend:
Register and operate a TikTok or YouTube account now, and just casually shoot videos.
Deploy your own blog website now, write casually, and submit it to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, etc.
Leave the rest to time. Once you have traffic, enable YPP (YouTube Partner Program) and Google Ads.
I do not recommend other things like stock trading, investing, buying lottery tickets, or starting a business.
