Short Videos, Written Content: Simple Methods for Fast Earnings

Value for Effort

Always remember, long videos and articles are for yourself; they can hold a certain meaning.

Short videos and image-text posts are for others, especially advertisers and bored users.

Advertisers want promotion, and users want to kill time. Content doesn’t need to be useful, just interesting or fun.

Time-tested, a short video only takes a dozen seconds to shoot casually, and uploading it only takes a few minutes.

Long videos often require several hours, including editing, etc. Generally, the longer the content, the worse the completion rate. So sometimes, the more effort you put in, the more mistakes you make.

Image-text posts and articles are the same.

Nowadays, everyone is short on time. Articles that are too long are immediately ignored.

They’ll only look at image-text posts with just a few words, because users’ minds are burdened. Even a tiny bit of in-depth content overloads their brains.

From a creator’s perspective, image-text posts also only take a few minutes, while articles generally take several hours.

The time ratio between the two is too disparate.

If you’re not a freelancer, you simply don’t have time to shoot long videos or write long articles.

Like me right now.

I work 12 hours, then come home and sleep.

Forget about several hours of creation; I don’t even have a few minutes to move my fingers to create short videos or image-text posts.

Having discussed content formats, let’s talk about platforms.

For me, I’ll post short videos on YouTube, not TikTok, as TikTok isn’t friendly to my country.

Secondly, I used to try posting on Twitter, but that stupid Twitter gets no traffic at all. Yesterday, it even automatically charged me for a membership, which is just speechless.

However, in terms of traffic, Twitter is still the only option for posting image-text content.

What’s left is my current blog, for writing long articles. I developed an app myself using AI to write blog posts on my phone.

Yes, I’m so tired that I can only type on my phone while lying down. There’s no way I can sit at a computer to type or edit videos.

I’m too tired.

YouTube, Twitter, Google search engine – I’m betting on a probability; their upper limits are very high.

Normally, there might be no traffic, no income, but as long as I keep updating, it’s possible that a certain piece of content will go viral.

This virality will generate a certain income.

It’s like buying a lottery ticket: usually you don’t win, but when you do, it’s hundreds of thousands.

The difference is that lottery tickets require a certain principal every day, and lotteries are about probability and a specific action. But platform content can be operated with skill, and it’s almost free, requiring only a mobile phone.
