I’m too tired. So tired that I don’t even have time to write a blog post, not even a single sentence.
Because recently I found a job, working in an auto parts factory.
Standing for 12 hours a day, constantly working every minute and second. There’s physical labor, detailed tasks, semi-automatic machine processing, and I’m also responsible for quality inspection, cargo handling, etc.
Currently, I’m on the day shift, and what’s worse, there’s also a night shift. The workshop is hot and stuffy, with slight machine fumes.
Only half an hour for lunch and dinner. Basically, as soon as I finish eating, I have to get back to work.
It’s too exhausting. Calling it hell on earth wouldn’t be an exaggeration. I have to stand the entire time and wear safety shoes.
The pay is low, and with this kind of life where you can see the end from the beginning, it’s no wonder so many people choose suicide.
My body is overdrawn, and I have no time to think. The longer time passes, the worse life will only get.
So I need to make money, find every possible way to make money, make money shamelessly, make money through gray income, make money through automation.
Currently, my YouTube income is only enough to buy a bottle of water a day. It’s completely insufficient to cover living expenses, but there’s no way for it to suddenly grow, as I’ve been operating YouTube for three years.
For me, YouTube isn’t a good choice. It doesn’t encourage originality; it’s more suitable for girls, where money comes by just wiggling their butts. For guys, besides doing physical labor in real life, there are basically no ways to make money.
The more tired I am, the more I need to keep thinking and recording.
Internet
Currently, YouTube can’t grow anymore. I’ve tried everything I can. I plan to research web development and blogging, through commissions, advertising, and paid memberships.
Although blogs have largely declined under the impact of AI, and I myself rarely use search engines, blogging is the only platform where I can express myself through text and edit freely.
There might not be much traffic initially, but later, as long as one article ranks well, the traffic will be considerable.
I’m betting on technology like SEO, and also on luck. As long as I write a lot, there’s a chance to trigger the algorithm.
Compared to working in a factory, blogging and recording like this is truly a sanctuary for my mind, where I can focus on documenting and thinking.
If I can make some money along the way, that would be even better.
At the same time, I also need to operate social media, such as X, YouTube, TikTok, etc. Right now, I just want to make money like crazy.
Automated Earning
If I have to keep working in a factory, then what I need is not just passive income, but ideally 24-hour income. I don’t want to do one job and earn one amount of money 💰.
Because it has a limit. The time and physical effort you put into one task are calculable. One day is barely enough to get by. You won’t get rich doing it your whole life, and you might even get poorer. One illness can send you to rock bottom.
I need a business that can generate continuous income after a single effort. For example, selling courses, blog SEO, tool site memberships, etc.
Why do I prioritize blogging?
Because I see two types of people on Reddit: those on YouTube and those on the web. Both of these earning methods have almost zero cost and high potential. If done well, the income can be many times that of a regular job.
Other things like selling T-shirts, watching ads on apps, or second-hand trading are nonsense. They only earn a small amount of money, not enough to cover living expenses, and are meaningless with no accumulation.
YouTube is getting worse and worse now. The long-form video algorithm is trash, and short-form videos are also trash. It’s extremely unfriendly to creators. More importantly, most videos require computer editing, and possibly self-recording and voice-overs.
Under the extreme exploitation of the factory, I no longer have the time or energy to edit or shoot videos.
The only thing I have the energy for is watching short videos on my phone.
Now, as soon as I get home from work, I almost immediately fall asleep. When I open my eyes again, it’s time to go to work.
I have no time to shower, wash clothes, tidy my room, or even charge my phone.
If it weren’t for the three-day holiday starting tomorrow, I still wouldn’t have time to write a blog post, not even a single sentence.
I have to force myself to sleep as soon as I get home, otherwise, I definitely won’t be able to last the 12 hours the next day.
This world is disgusting. Let aliens destroy it.
I used AI to create my own app, which allows me to write blog posts on my phone and then publish them with custom settings.
This way, I can lie in bed and use my limited energy to type on my phone, recording my thoughts.
Later, when I have time, I can add speech-to-text. I can record with my eyes closed and convert it into my blog.
To add, this factory doesn’t have weekends off. I only get 2 days off a month, so I barely have any personal time to handle my own affairs.
As soon as I start work, I’m practically socially disconnected. I can’t answer calls for deliveries or from friends and family. By the time I get off work, everyone is asleep.
I’m truly powerless to complain about work anymore. My constant assessment is that it’s hell on earth, a sweatshop.
Currently, this blog has almost no traffic. Bing occasionally gets one click a week. Earning money is still a distant dream.
Earning Analysis
My first way to make money is online begging, because currently Google doesn’t index my blog, so I naturally can’t integrate Google Ads, and there’s no traffic right now.
To have income, the fastest way is to provide a tipping channel. If an article is interesting or useful to others, I can try asking netizens to tip me for a cup of coffee. This also applies to independently developed tools.
After all, I’m from a developing country. With mainstream tipping, someone’s one cup of coffee could be my entire day’s income.
Tipping can also provide a positive cycle, either through direct tips or cryptocurrencies, etc.
3 AM, I fell asleep.
If it weren’t for the holiday, I wouldn’t be able to endure it at all.
