Side Hustle Focus
If your direction is wrong, the harder you work, the more you fail.
My latest strategic direction is as follows:
On YouTube, I will be uploading long-form videos on a daily basis—one channel dedicated primarily to food content, and another focused mainly on vlogs. These videos will be shot spontaneously, with minimal, casual editing; I’ll simply upload and share them as they are.
For my blog, I am going “all-in” on AI. AI represents the dominant trend of our time—a true industrial-scale revolution. It stands as the third disruptive revolution of this magnitude, following the Steam Age and the Computer Age. AI is not only a hot topic but also, arguably, the only avenue left for the average person to truly turn their life around. This trend has already persisted for three years, and it shows every sign of remaining the defining trend for the foreseeable future.
I should clarify one point here: I previously attempted to integrate my YouTube channels with my blog—the idea being that YouTube would drive traffic to the blog initially, and later on, the blog would reciprocate by driving traffic back to YouTube.
However, I failed. I experimented with using AI-generated voiceovers, recording screen captures of AI-related content, and utilizing AI tools to produce short-form videos. Consequently, YouTube—in its infinite wisdom—de-monetized one of my channels that was enrolled in the YouTube Partner Program (YPP).
I don’t view this as a failing on my part; rather, it highlights how garbage YouTube is as a platform. YouTube is a dumpster fire that bans channels indiscriminately and without nuance. At this point, I can’t even be bothered to record screen captures or jump through hoops just to appease the platform and its audience. Let them do whatever they want; all I care about is enjoying my own life—eating, drinking, having fun, and staying happy.
Therefore—barring any exceptional circumstances—my YouTube content going forward will consist solely of food videos and vlogs, while my blog will remain exclusively focused on AI-related topics.
As the old saying goes: “The rich rely on technology; the poor rely on mutation.”
In our current era, AI is the closest thing the average person has to real magic.
Current Status
Lately, I’ve been experimenting with a lot of different foods—and eating quite well, too. I’ve been casually filming short clips of these meals using my “AI eyes” (my smartphone camera) and have even edited a few of them together.
My current plan is to update my food video channel once a day. If I have content, I’ll post an update; if not, I won’t force it. After all, I have to eat three meals a day anyway, so as long as the food is good, I’ll have a never-ending supply of video footage.
As for vlogs, I’ll shoot them whenever the mood strikes. There’s no need to film meaningless filler content; if I do film something, I’ll simply remove any sensitive information and casually upload it.
Currently, my video traffic on YouTube isn’t very high—typically only around 100 views per long-form video. Revenue is practically non-existent, and the platform offers almost zero recommendations. But honestly? I don’t care.
Screw this garbage platform, YouTube. I’m no longer betting on the supposed brilliance of its algorithms—because its video recommendation system is pure trash, a total pile of shit. Instead, I’m going to bet on its algorithms being garbage. I’m betting that by uploading unedited videos, some unknown trigger within them will trip up its broken algorithm, causing it to suddenly recommend my content. The dumber the algorithm is, the better it actually works for simple, unpolished videos like mine. What a bunch of morons at YouTube.
In the past, I wasted far too much time on video editing and managing my YouTube channel. Now, I intend to dedicate the majority of my time to studying and curating AI-related resources, which I will then publish here on this blog site.
If I can’t even generate traffic with the hottest, most lucrative topic out there—AI—then I might as well give up on blogging entirely, and on creating content in any other niche, too. If that happens, it would simply prove that the entire world is a total shitshow. On the other hand, if the AI content does generate traffic, it will validate that I’m heading in the right direction; with a little extra effort, I might even be able to earn a modest income from it.
The AI tool I currently use the most is a vocal separator—specifically, one that isolates and removes human speech while preserving only the background audio.

Cloudflare Pages
It’s a free service, though it does come with certain limitations. I consulted ChatGPT to confirm the specifics:
Maximum size per individual static asset: 25 MiB (Exceeding this limit will result in a failed deployment or an inability to upload the file).
Maximum number of assets per Pages project: Approximately 20,000. …files (I currently have 126 files, the majority of which are image files).
Based on my current usage patterns, I still have room to accommodate 150 times the current volume of files. With approximately 30 articles currently published, this means I could theoretically write around 4,500 articles—which I consider more than sufficient for my needs.
In the unlikely event that I eventually exceed this file limit, I can always convert my images to CDN links or similar solutions. At my current pace, a library of 1,000 articles would be more than enough to constitute a fully comprehensive blog ecosystem.
